Privacy Policy
MyPosition (the "Service") values user privacy and handles information in accordance with the principles below.
1. Information Collected and Collection Method
MyPosition (the "Service") is provided as a website (myposition.dev) and as iOS/Android apps. Most features can be used without logging in, and the Service does not directly collect personal information from users who do not log in.
In the course of operating the web server and apps, access IP addresses, access timestamps, and browser/device information may be automatically generated and stored as server logs.
If you log in with a Google or Apple account to use login-only features such as a fixed nickname, level, or favorite coins, the Service receives and collects your email address, name, and a provider-issued unique account identifier from that service. On the apps, login is handled via Firebase Authentication (provided by Google). Passwords are handled directly by Google/Apple and are never transmitted to or stored by the Service.
Your login account has an associated fixed nickname, level/XP, and favorite-coin list, which are kept in sync across the web and apps for the same account.
If you use price/liquidation alerts, the Service collects your device's FCM (Firebase Cloud Messaging) push token in order to deliver push notifications.
If you use the chat feature, your message content, nickname, and the access IP at the time of posting are stored for abuse-prevention purposes.
If you use the mock trading (paper trading) feature, your virtual balance and virtual position/order history are stored linked to your login account. These are simulated figures, not real money or assets.
2. Purpose of Use
Collected access logs are used solely for operational purposes such as maintaining service stability, detecting abnormal traffic or abuse, and troubleshooting. They are not used to identify individual users.
Information collected at login is used only to identify your account, to provide login-only features such as a fixed nickname, level, and favorite coins, to sync data across your devices, and to prevent duplicate account creation.
FCM push tokens are used solely to deliver the price/liquidation alerts you have registered to that device.
3. Retention Period and Disposal
Automatically collected access logs are retained only for the period necessary to fulfill the operational purposes above and are deleted without delay thereafter, unless a longer retention period is required by applicable law.
Login account information (nickname, level, favorite coins, mock trading history, etc.) is retained for as long as the account exists, and is deleted without delay when you use the account-deletion feature in the app or website, or upon a deletion request sent to the contact address below.
FCM push tokens become invalid upon logout, alert deletion, or app uninstallation, and are deleted along with the associated alert settings.
4. Use of Local Storage and On-Device Data
The website uses the browser's local storage to remember dark/light theme and language (Korean/English) preferences. The apps use on-device storage (e.g. UserDefaults) for the same purpose. This information is stored only on the user's device and is not transmitted to the server while logged out.
If you set favorite coins or price alerts while not logged in, that information is stored only on your device; if you later log in, it is merged into your account and also stored on the server.
5. Advertising and Advertising Identifiers (Mobile Apps)
The iOS/Android apps use Google's AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK) to serve ads. In this process, advertising identifiers (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android) and ad-interaction data may be processed by Google.
On iOS, the app requests the system's App Tracking Transparency permission before attempting to track, in accordance with applicable rules, and users may deny or revoke this permission at any time in device settings.
If you do not want personalized ads, you can limit ad personalization on iOS via Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, and on Android via Settings > Ads.
6. Disclosure to Third Parties
The Service does not disclose users' information to third parties, except where required by a lawful request from an investigative authority under applicable law.
The Service uses the following third-party services for login, authentication, push notifications, and advertising; information processed through each is also subject to that provider's own privacy policy.
· Google (Google account login, Firebase Authentication, Firebase Cloud Messaging, AdMob advertising)
· Apple (Sign in with Apple)
